My Background...

I specialize in top quality, hand-crafted occasion cakes.  I am the proprietor, and bake and decorate every premium, sculpted, and wedding cake myself.  My passion for baking started as a young girl, when my mother would give me my very own piece of dough to roll out, sculpt, and bake.  I have since worked to perfect my skills, and am self-taught in the art of sugar mediums.  With the aid of professional pastry chefs, the internet, books, and magazines, I have been exposed to many new styles and techniques in use today, and I enjoy the challenge of mastering them.  I love the creative process, making an idea come to life, and the look of joy on the face of the recipient when I hand them that special cake.  The best part of this business is being able to be a part of some of the happiest days of people's lives.  It is a pleasure working with each individual customer and an honor to be included in your celebrations!

My Philosophy...

I use only the finest and freshest ingredients and do whatever is necessary to meet the needs and imagination of each individual client.  I firmly believe that your cake must not only be a work of art, but it has to taste as good as it looks!  I bake all of my cakes fresh to order, so I am  able to customize each order to fit your exact needs.   As owner and designer, I welcome your ideas and will work with you to create a spectacular show-stopping centerpiece for your special event.  I also take cues from invitations, a favorite item, hobby, occupation, decor, etc.   I promise you that even if you choose a design you've seen on this website, your cake will have a style all it's own.

Personally Speaking...

7/4/08:  Happy 4th!

Chillin' in the grass                     Looks like we have the next Jonas Brothers...

My boys

5/27/08:  Aedan is one year old!!!  I can't believe how fast time flies.  Liam is now 2 and a half, and the two of them are still having a blast together.  Aedan is now a walking, talking juggernaut of giggles.  Here he is enjoying his birthday cupcake...

And a few days later at his party...

4/15/08:  I think it's about high time I post an update!  This year has been rough on the little ones so far, but all is well now.  They both had a bout of the stomach flu, respiratory flu and everything in between, despite the flu shots and many trips to the doctor.  They are now healthy again, and getting into a lot of trouble!  Let's just say that Liam has yet to earn any gold stars this week...  Aedan isn't walking yet, but he's so close he can taste it.  He's mastered cruising, and is *attempting* to take his first few wobbly steps on a pretty consistent basis.  They still get along better than we had ever hoped, with tons of giggling and loving hugs and kisses.

At the zoo! (Liam needs a haircut!)                           The Easter Bunny brought a ball pit!
